Quotation Engineer

Due to a growing order book, we are looking for someone to support our busy Sales team.

The ideal candidate will be Multi Skilled having a good knowledge of all elements of precision engineering – CNC machining processes, Milling, Turning, Fabrication and Welding practices.

This role may suit someone who is looking for a career move from production to an office-based role.

Responsibilities:

• Generate customer quotations from supplied information, while effectively obtaining all details required.
• Drive on time delivery of quotations – recognising that pricing needs to optimise margin and profitability.
• Develop relationships at all levels of the supply chain both internal and external.
• Support Account Management, Manufacturing and Quality teams to resolve customer related issues in a timely fashion.
• Partake in customer and internal meetings.

The person:

• Ideally from a manufacturing/engineering background.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Experienced in the use of an ERP system, an advantage if direct experience of using MIE.
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
• A collaborator with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Prides themselves in being proactive and delivering timely, high-quality work.
